Player Points

Your team's weekly points are based on the real life weekly performance of the MBL players you've selected for your team roster. Points are calculated each week for MLB games played from Monday to Sunday. During the Regular Season and Wild Card Playoff games, your players earn their points as follows -

Hitting Points
Single = +1 point
Double = +2 point
Triple = +2 points
Home Run = +3 points
Run Scored = +1 point
Run Batted In = +1 point
Base On Balls = +1 point
Stolen Base = +1 point
Caught Stealing/Picked Off = -1 point
Fielding Error = -1 point

Pitching Points
Win = +6 points
Save = +4 points
Hold = +2 points
1/3 Inning Pitched = +1 point
Strike Out = +1 point
Walk Allowed = -1 point
Hit Allowed = -1 point
Earned Run Allowed = -2 points
Fielding Error = -1 point

IMPORTANT: During the World Series Playoff round, all hitting and pitching points are doubled.

A pitchers hitting stats do not count.
A hitters pitching stats do not count.
A hitter’s stats count regardless of what position they play. If your first baseman plays at third base, his hitting stats will count for your team as your first baseman.


Scoring Error

In the event you believe an error has occurred in the points accessed to a player, please go to the Site Support page and report the error. All confirmed errors will be corrected as long as they are reported in the current week of competition. Once a new week begins, player points from the previous week are final.
